Early Career Researcher award at the Society for Vector Ecology congress

In Chania, Crete, her talk on how urbanization affects the longevity of malaria vectors in Côte d'Ivoire received an award. She also spoke in the RAFT symposium on mosquito-borne disease risks in cities.

She represented Côte d'Ivoire at the 9th International Congress of the Society for Vector Ecology, held at the Mikis Theodorakis Theatre in Chania.

The RAFT consortium led a symposium there on adapting vector control strategies to the rapidly changing landscape of cities (Urban futures).

Her talk measured the effects of urbanisation on the longevity of malaria vectors in Côte d'Ivoire, looking at how temperature, humidity, housing structure and breeding sites shape mosquito survival in urban and rural settings.
