Three presentations and a session co-chair at ASTMH 2025
In Toronto, at the annual meeting of the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, she presented results from Côte d'Ivoire on experimental hut trials, urbanization and new insecticidal nets.

The ASTMH Annual Meeting (#TropMed25) gave the RAFT consortium a platform to share six years of collaborative research, through two symposia, six talks and seven posters.
In the RAFT symposium on choosing nets in Africa, she presented the entomological results of experimental hut trials in M'bé (Côte d'Ivoire), Mangoum (Cameroon) and Magu (Tanzania), all with high pyrethroid resistance. In M'bé, out of 6,586 mosquitoes collected, Interceptor G2 (alpha-cypermethrin and chlorfenapyr) reached at least 80% mortality at 72 hours, against about 50% for PBO nets and under 45% for pyrethroid-only nets.
She concluded that chlorfenapyr, to which the mosquitoes tested remained fully susceptible, plays a crucial role in sustaining net performance against resistant vectors.
Themes ranged from net performance across countries and vector species to resistance genes, Aedes bionomics and urbanisation in Cameroon and Côte d'Ivoire, dengue exposure in Mwanza, Tanzania, larval source management in Thailand and arbovirus preparedness in West Africa.
The collaboration brought together LSHTM, the University of London Malaria Consortium, Imperial College London, CRID and the Institut Pierre Richet in Côte d'Ivoire.
