From 25 to 29 November 2024, the annual scientific meeting of the RAFT consortium, led by LSHTM, brought together institutions from Africa, Asia and the United Kingdom in Bangkok to strengthen vector control.

The work from Côte d'Ivoire covered next-generation net trials, genetic analysis of resistance mutations, the impact of urbanisation on mosquito longevity, and preparedness for insecticide resistance management and arboviruses.

Field visits included Aedes larval collection in rural and peri-urban areas, and strengthened links with Mahidol University.
