Insecticide resistance management, from evidence to action
A review of how national resistance management plans are implemented in Côte d'Ivoire, Cameroon and Tanzania.
Role
- Contributed to the Côte d'Ivoire case study with the National Malaria Control Programme and co-authored both publications.
Research question
Are national insecticide resistance management plans keeping pace with resistance, and what limits their implementation?
Outcome
Plans exist and align with international guidance, but funding gaps, limited sentinel coverage and the lack of a national entomological database hold back implementation.
